Image bank: Tim Peake’s spacecraft

On 18 June 2016, after six months orbiting the Earth on the International Space Station, Tim Peake returned to Earth in the Soyuz TMA-19M descent module. Until 15 January 2018, this historic craft will be on display at Locomotion (Shildon), complete with scorch marks from its re-entry through the atmosphere.
