Find something that’s heavier than you; find something that generates friction…
Students explore the galleries and work together to choose an object for each challenge.
This activity is designed to encourage discussion about how science and technology have shaped our lives, with versions for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
We think this activity would work really well at many of our galleries, including:
- Make links between museum objects, curriculum science and their everyday lives.
- Recognise the relevance and applications of science in our everyday lives.
- Use observation, curiosity and communication skills.
