Professor Hawking’s universes

The famous physicist’s final piece of work has been published. This research suggests that all universes came from one big event, instead of many Big Bangs.

It’s incredible that Professor Stephen Hawking was still working on research papers a week before he died.

Hawking thought there were many universes, not just our own. These other universes could be very similar to ours – perhaps with their own Earths and humans. But he couldn’t explain how they all came into being. His final paper explores how the Big Bang may have created not just our universe, but many universes all at once.

We’re very excited to see what other physicists think about Professor Hawking’s ideas.
